| Meetings | Technical Talks | |
We generally meet bi-weekly. In a four week month, we'd meet once for a technical presentation
and discussion, and once for drinking, eating, and social discussion.
Our technical meetings are usually held in the second floor conference room at Thomson Scientific (formerly ISI),
3501 Market Street in Philadelphia; the location for ``social'' meetings
changes monthly. The Reading Groups have been held at Marathon Grill, 16th and Sansom
Our typical meeting schedule is:
|
Once a month, we meet and someone gives a presentation about technical issues about Perl, or the world surrounding Perl. Past talks include XML, Perl/Tk, Perl in the real world, Regular Expressions, and more. Generally our speakers come from within phl.pm, but from time to time we bring in a guru from elsewhere in the Perl community. An archive of past talks is available. | |

We have a rather low-volume mailing list, used mostly for negotiation
of meeting locations and occasional technical chatter. To subscribe,
send email to
majordomo@lists.pm.org
with a message body of ``subscribe phl''. `echo 'subscribe phl' | mail majordomo@lists.pm.org` |
